Roblox doesn't show official support for local resource loading, so they could make a change that could break the way you have patched the local resources, all your player would have to download your patch and install it, and i'm almost certain that models and structures can't be loaded during normal gameplay, so you can't store maps locally. However, there are many downsides to this method. Theoretically, you could have HD textures and very long sound without buying them with robux by having some sort of installer that patches your client with extra textures and resources. However, you would still have to wait for Roblox's content servers to get you the map.As of right now, during normal gameplay, only textures and sounds can be loaded locally. There would still be loading time on entering the game as all of the maps would have to be replicated from the server. You could save your maps and upload them as models, and then when the server tells you what map needs to be loaded, the client loads the map from different servers than the game server. However I think this is different than what you mean. The server could tell the clients that you need to load Map A, and they would retrieve Map A from replicated storage, making it only appear to the clients, and the server wouldn't contain any parts.
